The XYZ-Carve kit comes in just one box containing all parts needed to bring your machine to life. The Addition of a Wasteboard, Spindle and Cutting tools will allow you to start caving right away.

The XYZ-Carve can be used to cut all woods, plastics, foams and even soft metals such as aluminium and bronze. We designed this machine to be easy to use and fun to build. Building your machine is the best way to learn about your CNC Router and teaches you new skills. It even runs on your preferred software such as EASEL

Size, Stability & ACCURACY

A machining space of ~800x800x75mm enables your biggest projects to happen. Skateboards, Signs, Picture Frames, Furniture, Art, Kitchenware, Speakers, and Guitars are just examples of projects from some of our users. For larger projects, you can add the Y rail upgrade kit to prove a longer cutting length of ~1300mm.

A proven open-source construction makes this machine easy to learn, build and operate fast; running with all popular software packages and accepting any G-Code files.

Accuracy on the Z axis is from 0.05mm and X / Y is 0.1mm. We chose belts for their long life, ease of maintenance and speed. Belts are perfect for starting and production at any level, as they are very forgiving and won’t bend or clog up like thin screws.

Proven construction

The XYZ-Carve is the perfect place to start any CNC journey. Its rigid Makerslide and Acetal V-Wheels are well suited for any jobs you will throw at it. 3DTEK guarantees all components for 12 months within fair use.

Our build instructions are interactive and online, not only saving you time, but the environment. Just add a waste board and your CNC Router foundations are complete.

Our metal control box is separate from the machine which prevents unnecessary debris build up in electronics and enables you to connect your computer away from the work area. Our stepper motors come on cable 5 meters long, so you have the freedom to set up as far away from the machine as you like or even build an enclosure to house the XYZ-Carve.

MOST POWERFUL MACHINE

Your workshop partner is now fitted with 185 in.oz step NEMA 23 motors which are 25% more powerful than before and other kits. They also operate at a lower current meaning the New XYZ-Carve is more efficient!

The XYZ-Carve is such a well-supported platform based on similar designs. The machine is very hackable and works with many accessorises, it can be modified to suit your needs; if you decide to take this route. You will be sure to utilise your CNC Router for many projects, across plenty of materials.

The XYZ-Carve works with most open source and paid-for software giving you full flexibility when designing projects.
