by YellowBoxShed is the perfect partner for the XYZ-Carve. Its a neat design which has carefully engineered for maximum vacuum and great dust control.
RESOURCEFUL
3D Printed with the perfect infill volume provides sufficient stability when carving through your work. A swift locking mechanism on the X-Carriage holds a strong Neodymium magnetised bracket in place. Detach the boot when inserting tool and setting work co-ordinates then reattach when you’re ready to fire up. The main benefit of the Magnaboot is you can height adjust the dust boot in relation to your job so that the brushes are not over or under compression on your work
it wont break the bank
Allowing you to budget more for the important bits, such as endmills. Magnets are now fitted to the boot, there maybe some small glue marks dried on after production which occur while shipping. These can cleaned off after receipt. Not all brushes are created equally and may vary in colour to the pictured part. All dust boots are printed in black.
Perfect fit
Fixation directly to the X-Carriage means that the brushes sit securely on your work, ensuring no loss of suction. Other designs clamping to the spindle lose contact with work piece and over compress the bristles which can be a concern for end mill capture.
